Résumé : In this thesis, we explored the mathematical foundations of neuroscience. We delved deep into how biological neurons communicate with each other through electrical signals, and we derived the famous Hodgkin-Huxley mathematical model that explains the neuron's ability to generate and propagate action potentials. Towards the end, we simulated this mathemaical model to verify our theoritical results, and then moved on to establish the basics of artificial neural networks, especially the early models that were first developed.
