Résumé : This research focus on the effect of the system size on the optical and electronic properties in the GaAs – Ga_(1-x) Al_x As spherical double quantum dot (SDQD) of a donor impurity by using the finite element method within the effective mass approximation. We focused on the variation of the binding energy (E_b) as a function of the system sizes and the PICS as a function of both the photon energy and the system size and taking into account the difference in the effective mass and the dielectric constant between the dot materiel GaAs and the barrier material Ga_(1-x) Al_x As, the results show that the binding energy and the PICS are greatly dependent on the system sizes.
