Résumé : Here is a much shorter resume: > This thesis investigated Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) for photovoltaic systems by studying and implementing the Perturb & Observe (P&O) and Incremental Conductance (INC) algorithms. A PV array and DC-DC boost converter were modeled in MATLAB/Simulink, and both methods were evaluated under varying irradiance and temperature conditions. Simulation results showed that both algorithms successfully tracked the maximum power point, with irradiance having a greater impact on power than temperature. While both techniques proved effective, the INC algorithm achieved faster convergence and lower steady-state oscillations, whereas P&O remained a simpler and lower-cost solution for practical applications.
